Ltbmw charges like a dealership. Minicorsa in north hollywood is awesome. If you really want to save money, I got a buddy that works from his garage.

I think LTMW does give decent pricing. However, that really depends on the parts you are getting (if you get OEM parts, you're just paying whatever BMW charges you).

Thats okay, they wanted $700 to paint my brake calipers.

I have a buddy that will install fmic for $100 and downpipes for near the same price...

LTMW doesn't charge like dealership, no way. Very reasonable pricing. If they charge like the dealership they won't be in business, and from what I have seen, turn around time has improved, I take my car there all the time so I know what they were like 4 years ago and now. I can comfortably say they have improved in all areas without any price hike. And I know they will work with you until you are satisfied.

$700 for brake caliper paint?? Are you sure? I know they charge around $350-$400 to paint BBK calipers, I painted mine 4 times and price has been same all 4 times. Yes $100 for dp & fmic install is dirt cheap but you can't compare person working out of garage vs shop. If LT was still working out of his garage then he will be even cheaper than $100...in the end it's your choice where you take your car to, but taking it to the shop is sort of having an insurance, something goes wrong they will be responsible for it. Let's just say engine blew(hope not) due to downpipes, I highly doubt some individual working out of his garage is willing to fork out $15000 to replace the motor. When I took my car in to LT's garage 4 years, I went due to his reputation, but I surely didn't expect any warranty type of service since I know what I am paying is just for an installation paid to an individual and I know he is just an individual working out of his garage. But again choice is yours.

Both at the same time for $100? Sounds awesome.

Ive been to long when he worked out of his townhouse. Hes a cool guy but last month I got a $700 quote from LT himself via email. I'll dig it up if it matters.

I wouldnt take an engine repair work to a guy working from home. But if its to install brakes, fmic, downpipes, fairly small things yes.

I can vouch for LTBMW or LTMW as well. Every mod on my car thus far has been done by them. Their prices are def reasonable and they back up their work. There has only been one time where i had to go back to get something redone and they did it no questions asked and no hassle at all. 700 for brake caliper def seem steep, perhaps he misunderstood you or maybe you wanted it painted with some special type of paint. I would def ask him again and have him confirm the price.

I see, my apology. didn't think he would charge that much for caliper paint. I am sure he misquote you thinking something else needed to be done.

One last question! Do they also offer paint services? I need a hood and front bumper painted? But I've been readying it real hard to match the BMW paint? Is that true?

No prob! I've been to shops all over LTBMW is top notch and it's cool that I used to take my car to him when he worked out of his garage and to see how his operation has grown to what it is today with countless features in all the magazines, Longtran is a real standup guy. The other shop I also visit is Platte Forme a.g., their work is the same and Toan is fantastic. Happy modding
