Chance of damage during transport?

Well, my car is at the Vehicle Processing Center for 7-8 days now. It was supposed to load on the truck 5 days ago, but it didn't for some reason. My CA doesn't know why.
What are the chances of it sustaining damage during transport and now just sitting there forever waiting to be repaired?

I don't want a damaged car!

That would suck. I dont know what the chances are. But as long as your ship diddnt tip like the one two months ago, you should be in good shape.

My dealer quoted me about a week from the time it lands in NY to be ready for delivery in Boston.

Yeah, I'm going on a week here too, but what worries me is that is was scheduled to load on the truck 5 days ago and it didn't.

Other thing I can think of is that maybe they don't have a truck full of cars yet.

Yea, thats one of the reasons I am tracking it. To make sure nothing is "Taking longer than expected" That would definately raise a red flag for me. But hey, delays happen all the time, there are tons of cars ahead of us, there could be port delays, weather, etc. It really could be anything.

If your car was supposed to be loaded 5 days ago and wasnt, I would definatley contact your CA.
