Ok thanks for the update, it may have been already said a couple of pages back and I didn't see it but I appreciate it very much.

I have an OTG cable for it, have plugged up USB Thimbdrives, and used it to charge my iPhone when traveling. I never had an issue when I had it. I'm onto a Nexus 9 now and same experience.

So, I`m a bit confused. Sorry I`m new to tuning.
Is MHD a platform on which you can upload different maps, flash your DME with these pre-made maps? or it is the name of a custom tune? |

Both. Off the shelf maps or custom maps done by emailing your logs through to wedge directly

Would this work for flashing? Since the initial flash can take an hour? |

Will MHD be able to handle a hybrid turbo? or still requires a jb4? Will it also cause any issues for inspection? Such as forcing a N/A on emissions like cobb...

Yes it will work fine for upgraded turbos. They already have 3.5 bar support unlike Cobb. I have not heard if they will offer OTS maps for the pure but you can always get a custom tune.

2. E series post § 2012 and F series need a one time bench flash to unlock OBD flash. 3. F series use a different protocol but the same DME family. For now we're finishing a first version of MHD n55 E series before we have a closer look at F series. |

Still haven't seen any actual dyno comparisons before and after only virtual dynos. Any idea when we can see what the OTS maps are capable of? I would imagine they would have been dyno tested by now if open beta is about to begin.

I'm likely going to do MHD, if not during the beta then at least very early in the general release, and will put my car on a dyno. My car is FBO with the PPK flash, so the baseline won't be stock, but will be able to at least give a point of reference.

Awesome, for sure I'll be going MHD as well but I figured Wedge Performance and MHD would have already teased us with some real dyno results of their OTS tunes from a marketing perspective considering how close they are to an open beta release.

Just to clarify, I'm not developing the OTS maps for MHD N55. Twisted Tuning has been working on the map development from the beginning. If Martial gives me the green light to dyno the OTS maps while I'm on the dyno I will as a comparison to the stock PPK. This is in NO way a direct comparison to my custom maps because my maps will not be released through the MHD store. If anyone is looking to have a custom map developed once MHD is released, you can send me an email. |
