[BGGCR]

I am having some issues with my color scheme and getting a paint stick to match. Ive had both a61 and 172 paint chip kits and they are both too dark. When I look up my vin it says a61 karmesinrot crimson red, but under the hood it says "KARMESINROT A61/3 japanrot". I did some searching and apparently that's a different base and top coat? Has anyone ran into this problem before or is this a rare color combo?
