I agree but that doesn't equal to common failure like let's say coolant pump, injectors and high pressure fuel pump on n54, oil leaks, coolant leaks, waste gate rattle on n54, early models steering column lock, turbos and EGR on diesel engines and etc. All these have had happened to most e90, not only to some sporadically.

I agree 100% with you, it is nowhere near as prevalent as water pump failures, injectors, HPFP, or anything you listed. Like I said in my first or second post, it's definitely not common, but it is a rare failure point that does happen more than other platforms
