Yea its not really that hard. It comes in a sheet and I cut it out. I just
use some 3m liquid adhesive spray. Probably 77 multipurpose will do the
job, anything higher might be 2 strong. When I want to change it, it will be
a snap. Just use rubbing alcohol and the adhesive comes right off.

I was really bored of Burl and did not want to get all new trim. If I get good at this I might start doing it....haha. I know there is an Aluminum looking one, which I will get if this ever starts looking bad. All in all. I can not wait.

Few pics of it

That looks pretty good, I wonder how long it holds up or the fabric gets caught and starts to pull.

As far as I have heard, it holds up very well over long periods of time and is not that expensive.

I bought it from a member named Soni on here because I did not feel like searching for it, but really all in all
the mod should only cost 50$ or less. I payed 70 something(shipping from canada), but I am 100% there is a place
that has the same stuff and more colors for less. If I ever get bored of it, the mod is very easily reversible also.

EDIT:
Found some I am pretty sure. Can find it on ebay, but this looks more legitimate

I've been wanting to do the c/f trim mod ever since Soni posted the first pictures. Let us know how it goes and you might persuade me into doing it too.

If you aren't busy sometime this weekend, you can come over and check it
out/ help if ya want. Really should not be that tough to do.

189s look great, parachute!
My weekend is pretty crazy, so no free time for me. Make sure you document your DIY. Apparently it's an art, so you'll probably get better as you go.

i wanna check out and see how hard the install process, personally i prefer the shiny gloss of real cf, but it looks great for the price, compared to 1k+ for a vorsteiner interior kit

It's probably real carbon fiber, just no resin. I like the cloth a ton better, most cf interior kits look like cheap pos. I love the OEM M CF cloth trim. I think it's like $900 though. A little steep for some trim pieces.

They look awesome on an E90 . I am surprised I have never seen your car around town or well ever. I don't think I have seen your color on an E90, well 1 at the dealer. I see you have Euro xenons 2
