BMW 335IS suspension upgrade option???

BMW Performance Suspension $1,421 MSRP option for the 335IS, does anyone have this from BMW? If so do you think it was worth it for someone who wants to firm up the suspension and drop it a little but not really get into to whole aftermarket market suspension ordeal?
