Hi all,

Well today I had an appointment with Dad's Mobile Auto Spa. I found out about them though Red flag deal which DESI4life10 put me on when we was trying to get a good deal on a memory card for our GoPros.

Anyways I bought this for my 2008 335i last year for about $79 and the regular price is about $180 for a wash, wax and interior cleaning.

So the company sent Dorian and he has been detailing cars with this company for the 7 years or so, and he knows his cars, he knows them so well a car was getting to leave the parking garage and I thought it was this old sunfire with a bad muffler, but he stands up and said "Subaru", and I was thinking to myself "What is he talking about?", I thought he was nuts, and then he said, "A Subaru WRX!" now I know he lost it, and then I seen the Subaru drives around the corner and took off, like I said he knows his cars!

Any how he want back to work on my car and did a very good job, the one thing I liked that I didn't see anyone else do before, he was brushing the vents out and using the vacuum to pick up the dust that he brushed out.

So he was there for 2hrs working on my car, he was only suppose to be with the job for 90 mins max, but he does not like to leave a job until he gave it one last look over to make sure he did not miss anything.

If you use this company to detail your car ask for Dorian he is very good.

Oh no! Haha. I'd love to repaint them for you, it can't get any worse.

does he only wash? or does he full out detail the car too?
casue i see some hazing on the 5th and 6th picture =S

There is no hazing, the built-in flash on my camera is crap, it does not like to take pictures in dooirs.

Considering it's a 90 minute-2 hour detail he definitely doesn't do a full out detail haha.

Haha, that's called a "rush job" not a "full out detail"

So 90 mins eh... wanna do my car?

I usually count my details in days vs. hours - definitely don't have the time/patience or energy for it anymore.
But I still have difficulty trusting anyone else with the detail.

haha yea it takes me almost 2 days to fully detail my car for winter prep and summer prep
wash - claybar - polish - seal - paste wax - liquid wax...pain in the ass lol

Yeah tell me about it, I've been saying "next weekend" ever since march haha. The car needs a full correction, but it's too much of a commitment.

I've considered doing it panel by panel and it may be the approach I eventually end up taking. The car might look a little funny all dirty with one random panel polished and sealed to a perfect shine, but I'm used to having my car look funny by now.

last year i full restored everything but my trunk and havent had time to touch my car yet cause of work and school
now my car is pretty much swirless but my trunk is swirl heaven ><
