No, 100% is still 100%. But if you are knocking due to whatever reason, you can add in additional CPS offsetting by going up to 200%.

I think the non-doomsday maps are set to 50%, and the doomsday maps are set to 100%... but I could be wrong... But that's what I got when I uploaded the non-doomsday and doomsday maps... (7-29)

Scott,
just poney up the bucks and go to the Sunoco station off Rt. 70 in Middletown/Myersville.

Thats where Clem and I always get our 5 gallon drums of 104 octane ....Sunoco 260 GT Plus...that stuff is GLORIOUS!!

hmmm wonder what my "new" car will feel like w/ a tank of tha goodness and the boost turned up to say 15psi....hmmmm

Wow.. People are making it more confusing than it really is. Lol

1) 100% is still 100%
2) The default ign corr% in all the maps (DD and nonDD alike) is still 100%. If this is not the case for you, you are either running the new software with an older map, or visa versa and didn't follow the directions

Shiv

Tested the new maps today racing against E92 M3.
Here's my previous race with 5-29 maps:

This time I pulled harder on him right from the start. However, as soon as I shifted into 5th, he cought me up and overtook me shortly. At the end of the 6th gear he had ~3-4 car lengths on me. I'll post videos after the weekend.

So, it seems like low end is stronger but top end is weaker. I suspect this could be due to new safety feature when boost is reduced when oil temperature reaches 258F. This kind of sucks as it is impossible to keep the temperature below 258F when racing up to such speeds with stock OC.

Hmmm. I've never seen mine over 250 with the stock OC, but I have never buried the needle like that. What type of oil are you running?

that's weird, i can't get mine over 250 with super hard driving doing pull after pull after pull in 3rd gear and 3-4 gear. The highest I see is 240... 245, and that is with NO factory oil cooler.

it was 95 degrees today and I was doing a bunch of pulls and never saw over 245

Castrol Edge Formula RS 0W-40. The one BMW recommends.
Have you ever raced 50-300km/h (30-180+mph)? Try it and you'll see 270+, especially after a second run in a row.

258F is pretty darn hot. I wouldn't be bummed out about the PROcede dropping boost when temps go above that... yikes!!

It is difficult to get mine over 250 in 3-4 gear too. Just try to do some 2-6th gear WOTs.

I had 270+ today after a second 30-180mph run. Too much heat is being generated.
My next mod - oil cooler upgrade.

Really? That's hard to believe. No stock oil cooler and with all those mods, you don't pass 250F? Maybe the analog gauge is hard to read but it goes over 250 easily. Even I have the stock oil cooler. I have the Performance Steering wheel and every time I get on it up to 4th gear on the 2nd heavy run the indicator is flashing (over 250F) and I see my temps hit 259-265 right away even on a low boost map on an 85F day. I'll have to video it.

I would expect the oil to get that high and even higher with runs like that. Its no surprise.

My oil temp has never been a problem with me except when I was racing a viper at speeds past 170mph and the oil temp was a little over 250. I didnt have any problems even before my oil cooler retrofit.

then the gauge must be broken. I do countless 3rd gear and 3-4th gear pulls and it never goes over 250. Usually sticks right around 240

just checked a bunch of datalogs looking at the oil temp in their as well, and it never goes over 250, so the gauge in the car isn't wrong.

Which oil do you use?

Interesting. Do you live in a low humidity area?
