My plan was to just try and fit the OEM 1M or M3 air ducts. For me i just have to make sure they look ok from the front. For you, i think you'll need to channel the air to where it goes normally, which is the oil cooler i think.

Thanks. It will be easier for me as it only needs to look right, the actual cooling is not needed. Worst case scenario we would just fabricate something. I'm more worried about the bumper fitment to be honest. But fingers crossed, it should be ok!

I have bought OEM 1M grills from a stealer (£40) and they fit on the bumper perfectly. But i think modifications will be needed on the back of the duct, on the car side. Not sure what needs to be modified, but will find out when i get it fitted. I was hoping for a test fit this Wednesday, but that hasn't been confirmed yet. |

Can you kindly post the photos of raw bumper with the air ducts placed next to it or behind it?

Seller does not offer painting unfortunately.
Here are some pics as requested: Bumper: Air Duct hole: OEM 1M air duct placed over hole. It fits over it perfectly. From the front with air duct: |

£40 for the 2 side ones. I thought to just use mesh for the centre, and ducts for the sides. But i guess for your highly modded 335i, it would be beneficial to have the centre duct as well |

One thing to note is that the bumper lacks the shape the OEM bumper has for the arch liners to tuck in nicely. The bolt holes can be drilled but it doesn't have the 'channel' which mine currently has. Not an issue for me personally but might irk you if you like things perfect. |

I wonder what us non 335i or 335d owners may need, as I know we do not have the cooling ducts at the front or the IC. I think we would be find with out any of these, just meshing it might work

Anthony: For us 335D owners, you can just put some mesh there as well. Or you can just stick some air ducts on for the looks. Or, you can somehow channel the air to the brake disks. Not sure how beneficial that would be though. For 335i owners i think they need to channel air to the oil cooler and brakes, which is why its a slightly harder job for them. |
