Best Cat-back exhaust systems for 335i Xdrive Coupe?

Just wanted to see what people thought are the best Catback exhaust systems for the 335i.
Anyone have experience with Catback exhaust systems?
Does Xdrive matter when I'm looking to purchase a cat-back exhaust system?
Safe for long road trips? 1000+ mile trips??
Thank you for your time!

YouTube -- What you think is the best sounding exhaust might sound like shit to me

I'm perfectly happy with DPs + the Stock DP-Back Exhaust. I can't mentally justify spending upwards of $1k for some metal tubes that could potentially drone/sound like ass while cruising around on the highway.

Most popular options are axle-back exhaust though: Remus, Eisenmann, UUC/Corsa & BMW PE.

I have really wanted to get catless downpipes for a very long time. I want the ones from AR Design.
My car is under warranty for 20k more miles or a year and 2 months.
I hear catless downpipes cause the turbos to break often?

I have to take the catless downpipes out everytime I bring it in for service?that is $300 every time

I am running Cobb Accessport Stage 1
Thank you all for your time and patience. I wouldn't have posted a thread on this forum about this if my search results sufficed

1st, smack your friend

2nd, he was prob running an overly aggressive setting or just had a bad turbo. Catless DPs yield the 2nd most HP-gains with bolt on parts (after a tune) and help the turbos breath a lot better (so they're actually less stressful then the OEM catted DPs)

What problems could the Catless dps cause?
I have to take them out for every warranty service right?
Could they cause excessive damage on a long road trip? 1k miles non stop?
Thank you guys so much for your time and patience. I just want to protect my car and use the warranty to my advantage while increasing sound and hp

No chance of damage from a set of DPs. As another said, it's actually the opposite (they are good for your turbos)... That said, they are not good for warranty service. I'm not sure what others do, but I would hesitate to take my car in with DPs if I were on warranty. They'll probably never know, but better safe than sorry.

Catless DPs won't cause any problems on their own. I've had my catless DPs in for a while & leave them in for service, but that's also a benefit of going to a mod friendly dealer (check your regional forum & ask around about which dealers are cool & which ones to stay away from).

There is no damage they can cause, I've driven 300 round trips multiple times (caravans to Bimmerfest East & MPact) with my most aggressive tune setting, catless DPs and an aftermarket intercooler and had NO problems. Honestly, if you mod your car responsibly & regular maintenance (oil changes, spark plugs, 93 octane consistently, let the oil temp warm up before ripping on the car, etc), it'll be fine.

Thank you all so much! I am 90% sure I'm going with catless down pipes. Do they drone at all? It is safe to run a stage 1 cobb tune with the catless downpipes right?
Thank you again

you run stage 2 with catless dps. drone depends what you got after the dps and if you are MT or AT.

If your in San Diego (which I am too) just make sure you can pass emissions after you get catless down pipes. I dont have catless downs (yet) but already have my DP fix for my JB4.
