Genuine 313 Alloys, is there two colour finishes?

Hi, Might be a stupid question, but is there two colour finishes to the genuine 313 Alloys as on some pictures the 313 alloys look darker on some than others?? might that they may be dirty. I am picking up a e92 le mans blue, 10 plate next week on and has 313 alloys but look very bright silver. any answer will be great. anybody with a Le mans blue e92 with 313's fitted have a picture of there car i would love to see. many thanks in advance

There are two types of 313's, the normal ones, and performance ones - the only visible difference being the performance logo on the spoke

I've had three replacement ones fitted to mine, and I'd say they are slightly darker than the originals, maybe variation in paint batch?

Pretty sure that they are all the same colour though (only the inside of the spokes and rear of the wheels are painted, the rest is machined and lacquered)

Good choice of colour btw

No probs

I think, having done a quick search, Le Mans Blue and 313's might be quite rare!

Here's one, but it's not UK spec:

and this:

Which IMO looks fab!

Damn, that's a sexy colour

You will see a different as the front is diamond cut and inside is silver/greyish. It will trick u into thinking it is 2 tone! Coppersim's photo is reps from chris which was from our group buy stunning right?

Not a manufacturing fault, but the dealer did tell me that the finish on the wheels won't last

I had three tyres fitted and they damaged the wheels, after a refurb they looked even worse, so they agreed to replace them. I will say, they are a bitch to look after, and while they are nice, I'd avoid them in the future.

After tyre fitting:

The photo in my post isn't of my car, just one I googled and came across, here's mine:

Garage List
I have 313M wheels on mine and there are two or even three types of this wheel. My brother has them on his 320d Sportplus 2012 and his wheels aren't as grey as mine. Mine were from a 2011 build car. There are also differences where the centre cap sits. Some are sunk in the hole, some sit proud. Then there's the performance and normal ones. You need them all together though to see the slight differences.

When I was looking at getting genuine Type 313's, I found there were three different available:

Normal Type 313's on a staggered set-up;
Performance Pack version with black wording on each rim denoting this on a staggered set-up;
A slightly lighter grey version of the first type above.

Here is what I had in the end (I got them thrown in when we bought my fathers's car - same spec as mine except in 330D MSport guise) -

Best of luck with your purchase
