Well again I agree, and neither of them complained about a harsh ride hen they drove mine, but those were very brief drives. I know from driving many SE courtesy cars that the ride is a lot more 'spongy' on the SE, you run over speed bumps at 30 mph and they just get soaked up, whereas you really feel them in the M Sport.

Of course a lot also depends on how low you set your seat.

I had no complaints with the seats in the 520d SE. I did 40K miles over 2 years and always found them very comfy.

Personally I think the new C Class in sport spec with 18" wheels is one of the best looking saloon (and estate) cars on the market.

I agree, and I think I am about to get a C sport estate on a 2 year hire deal instead of the E.

I meant the new E class is pig ugly.....

Not even asked if they will match it.

I have been offered a C180K Sport estate in dark grey with black leather and bluetooth for £230 a month plus vat, so £250 a month really.
That is through Lombard.

I am also talking to someone about an E500 Avantgarde Estate as well though, if we can agree a trade in on my E320 estate then I will do that instead. The thought of the new C Class is very tempting, but I love the E Class estate, even more so with air matic suspension, comand and that lovely V8 to waft you around in total comfort.
