Hey fellow members! I have a few questions and I hope anyone can chime in and help a fellow member here...
I have an e90 pre-lci to start with. I've decided to replace my front speakers to the Focal 100KRS. Will this also fit the rear shelf speakers? Due to the price significance, I'm also considering coaxial s from Focal. They have a few 4" coaxial components out right now. Would you guys happen to know which ones fit? I'm ordering everything overseas and I want to make sure they fit with no problems. I really hope anyone can help me out please... |

The four inchers look too thick, perhaps -- not clear how the tweater would work or fit in the door location. Depending on what system you have, the door sails are the place to put the tweaters.
And definitely the sub it too large for the underseat location. That's a great six channel amp (so I say, it's what I use). |

Hi,
I'm new to the forum, And I like the idea of the XD600/6 Amp, but need the harness. I assume Technic is still selling harnesses. I can pm him yet, is there another way to contact Technic? A website? Thanks |

This is a replacement speaker thread. Post your question about the amp in the main section.

Are there any component sets anymore that are not discontinued that are less than $250 or so?
Looking at the list on page one everything is either required to be top mounted (really want to keep a stock look) - or its discontinued or is way out of my budget need help please |

could you post pics of the door card so I can have an idea of what it looks like behind the factory door card/grille? Thanks for your input as I was seriously considering those as well. |

Actually from what I understand CDT's have been around for a while. The HD's are the top of the line , the classics right below that from what I understand.
They sound really good to me an obvious upgrade over the stocks. The twwets are silk so theyre not harsh. Perfect for me, again YMMV. |

I'm about to jump into upgrading the Stereo System in my car and this thread is very useful. I am with alot of others in wanting to know what is a current listing of speakers that fit and I wont have to pull my kid out of college to afford them.

Has anyone tried Morel CAW428 as midrange replacement?
I have E90 sedan with BMW Professional Base and want to replace midrange and add tweeter as first step: Morel CAW428 + Vifa NE19VTS-04 (or SEAS Prestige 27TAFNC/G (H1397)) + passive xover. Any ideas before I placed my order? Last edited by Stream; 03-11-2013 at 10:42 PM.. |

Jehnert XE200 woofers are 55mm deep, and they don't fit without a spacer. That Vifa has no prayer, I'm afraid. I have not tried the CAW428. Since it's already 8 ohms, I would not even attempt it with a passive crossover. If I did use it with a passive crossover, I would design the crossover myself... but those Morels don't have great HF off-axis response (I like Morel a great deal, but they want their own low-Fs tweeter crossover points). I would go active if going that direction and I'd get the Vifa 25mm ring radiator if I had to. But with an 8-ohm mid and a 4-ohm tweeter you're gonna probably need a lot of attenuation in your passive (especially an on-axis 4-ohm tweeter) and that will take a lot of trial and error testing. As long as you're up for it. Use wirewound resistors if you can they sound better than the cheap sandstone resistors. |

Oh, I didn't take into account impedance, thank you for pointing on this. I have some exp in DIY crossovers so I think I can deal with 8 ohm mid and 4 ohm tweeter. I realy want as less as possible DIY with my BMW and after reading a lot of reviews, worklogs I think I will be satisfied with Jehnert 3-way kit. |

I was looking for some aftermarket underseat woofers but I noticed that my passenger side did not have an underseat woofer. Can anyone confirm this? My car was built in 2011 with base audio package.
