Lci start/stop button Retrofit? QUESTION

I have a 07' pre lci e92 And I've always wanted a Lci start stop button , I just like the way it looks better pretty much I know its weird but I've started messing with my interior and this is on my list. my question is are the completely plug and play swappable? are the trim pieces different on lci? would anything stop it from working ect..

Before I buy one I just wanna make sure it is compatible If anyone knows it'd be helpful I can't find a definite answer Thanks

stolen pic but just to help illustrate

I don't see why it wouldn't work.

They are completely interchangeable. The lci one will fit in your existing trim without any modification either. The two clips that hold it in though are on the underside of the wood/aluminum dash trim, so you have to lift the edge near the steering wheel up to pop the button out.

Dont get why this forum is so nazi on bumping old posts... Its kinda in the archives for the sole reason of beeing useful for others... And rebumping might bring more additional info to the thread making for a more complete thread...

You missed the point and are unaware of the posts that were deleted. Someone trying to push their YouTube channel would post their vids all the time under different names and starting different threads. Then would use dummy accounts to bump them to the top all the time. The person above my post has one post...ever (yes, just that one).
