Need Help with set up
I have an 09 335i coupe with sport suspension(stock) current set up is 18x8 225/40/18 ET 35 & 18x8.5 255/35/18 ET 33
I am planning to upgrade wheels to VMR VB3 19x9.5 ET 42 and Rear 19X10 ET 22 i want to know what size tires should i run and also want to know if there will be any issue with fitment and if i need spacer? if so what size? I dont understand much about the clearance and all so if anyone wants to plug these numbers in on top of this forum with wheel and tire calculator and see if ill have any issue? i would really appreciate your help Thanks!! |

Front tyre size 235/35/19. Here is front 19x9.5 et33 example http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=298995 For the rear 255/30/19 or 265/30/19 and you will need fender roll. Here is a 19x10 et25 rear with rolled fenders and 265/30/19. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=531437 Do it, that setup will look good and aggressive.

Thanks for the info but I don't want to roll my fender! Is there another option like any size spacers I can use for rear as well? Or do I just need to find different wheels that match up my current offset?

I was against it also myself, but im going get my rear fenders rolled for next summer. You can't see the roll on the outside if the roll is mild. You would have to look to wheel housing to see it. You probably won't need so big roll, because you have stock sport suspension. Spacers for the rear will make it "worst". the wheels would stick out even more. Example 19x10 et22 + 10mm spacer= 19x10 et12 Wheels would stick out 10mm more. You could find the same wheel to rear with higher offset like around et30-37 and if after that you would want it to stick out more, then add spacers. Or use 255/30/19 tyre that will give more clearance, maybe add little bit of negative camber.
