A Little Help . . .

Well Christmas is coming up and you know ... something just has to go terribly wrong

(sorry for crappy cell shot, i just can't bare to see it in detail anymore)

So Insurance has been called and quotes should happen Monday. After the check is signed though ....

who wants to help me fix it up with say a CSL trunk, Mtech bumper, and dual/quad diffusor? (should be cheaper than OEM if not the same right?)

There is a group buy going on for the CF CSL trunk for 700 shipped, don't know if it's ended yet tho. You may want to check the vendor section.

Mtech bumper exclude painting should costs about 700 - 800ish OEM, if you buy it from forum vendor or ebay, you should be able to get one for about 500 shipped

Thanks for the prices, the helps a lot and was basically what i was looking for. since im pretty much going to rebuild the back end i figured i might as well upgrade a little.

I see the CSL but i also like the ARKYM trunks. also with the bumpers i cant see the difference between mine and the mtech besides the diffusors in the pictures. would you have any recommendations on others?

I don't know about the price of the ARKYM trunk.

Most people go with the mtech rear bumper because it gives you the ability to change the diffusor. There are couple popular choices such as the Duke Dynamics diffusor or the BMW performance one. If it's my car, I would go with the mtech and pick a diffusor that I like. There is also the m3 rep bumper. Other than bumpers, you can also add a lip on top of the OEM bumper, which in my opinion doesn't look as good as getting the mtech.

So the shop pulled everything out of my trunk to weld on a new corner panel including the amp and battery, will they have any trouble with programming when they put it back together?

Body shops typically don't do any coding and I would suggest you to ask them specifically to take it to the dealer or an BMW indy shop to code that.
