Need help removing negative terminal of battery to get going with my JB3 instal

I searched but couldn't find any answers... May seem like a dumb question but this is my first time modding my car in any way. I can't understand how to unplug the negative battery terminal so that i can get going with my JB3 instal. I found the terminal and unscrewed the bolt but what next? Thank you for any help.

just pull the cable straight up...make sure you loosen the bolt enough if you can't pull it up with a little force then loosen some..take your time with the rest of the install...good luck
