335i JB3 beats Renntech E55

Last Sunday a group of us met at a weekly local car meet for some fun. After the meet we went out for some runs. I went up against a stock 211 E55 and killed it but I really think there is something wrong with his car, I beat it by 10 car lengths. The guy is having the Benz looked at today by the dealership.
My second run was against a 211 E55 with Renntech Pulley, ECU and exhaust, to my surprise I pulled on him by two car lenghts, we raced from 60mph to 110mph.

Everyone was shocked by the performance of the 335i with just a JB3 and intakes. I think this weekend is going to be a rematch but maybe I will use 100 octane just to make the Benz guys feel worse.

After that we saw "Death Race"

that makes no sense at all sorry. there was definitely something wrong with the e55...

Wow; nice runs!

Not too surprising, since I ran against an SL55 (stock I'm sure) 2 days ago and although we didn't do the honking thing, let's just say he couldn't keep up either from ~ 70-130mph.

Thanks, about 3 weeks ago I raced an SL600 with exhaust and beat him. Since then the SL600 had a new IC pump installed and motor mounts, now we are dead even from 35mph to 125mph. Not sure if the SL 600 is faster than an SL55

I don't know--I have seen a JB3 335 in action, and it is smokin fast.

LOL, it was an AMG I have the thread to the guy on the MBworld.org. Also the E55 just went to the dealership to get check up and everything was perfect. His tune and pulley are only a month old and he said he could feel the difference from stock

what the heck? Motor mounts make your car faster? You don't see those on your usual mod list

LOL, the stock motor mounts and tranny mounts were toast causing the everything to twist. By having everything twist it wouldn't let the SL launch.

450whp/470wtq (maybe more) and 1000lbs heavier.... if you beat it with just a jb3 and intake, a more modded car like mine would destroy it then... i just don't believe it. oh well, nice kill

Well, your Xi is quite a bit heavier than the standard E92 as well....maybe you would, maybe you wouldn't.

heh, only about 200lbs or so. Are you seriously comparing a car with just a tune and intakes vs a fully catless car with tuning, intakes etc....
