how does BMW feel about boost guages? Leave them installed for service??

I probably voted the same in that thread that rixst3r linked... I think a wideband AF gauge is probably the most useful gauge on a tuned car after a boost gauge. I had one on my last car, which was useful when we had it on the dyno, but once the car was tuned it never had much use unless I got the urge to play with the boost controller.

I would say wideband then fuel pressure......A wideband will tell you pretty much everything as far as your lean/rich conditions. If you have low fuel pressure, bad injector or something just causing a lean condition. I think its a really important gauge.
