I think design one for me faster, easier and as long as it looks good during the day as well as the night.

Design 1! Ease of install If the creator of the design is stating that the install is VERY HARD, then it will probably be damn near impossible for me...

let me clarify - For design 2, the hard part of the install is that you have to reach your hand into the headlight to find a screw. You can not see the screw at all with your eyes, you can with a very small mirror. Removing the screw is hard because you need to find the tool with 1 finger, get the nut driver in with the same hand, turn it with that hand, and make sure it doesnt fall off, all without being able to see what is going on.
If you have fat fingers or large hands then it will be almost impossible. I have very thin hands and it took me a long ass time.

I may not build both versions though, it'll be expensive to make them both if people dont want to buy them.

Darn it! I love how the Lux4/5 on the E90 looked, they are so nice and such an upgrade over stock. 800 Lumens just don't cut it for me.... Damn!

yeah, 800 lumen is just a small fraction it won't work.

I believe DD LED has more than 2700 lumen posted on their website; nothing can beat that for sure.

The DD install will be just as hard.

LUX 5 is only making about 450 lumen or so. 800 lumen will be a huge increase.

PIAA - that thing probably makes 200 lumen max, even that is probably way too high of a guess

PIAA produces about 100-150 lumens, their led's don't heat up much however.
