lol this topic is over asked.. but yea.. injen sounds good. i have it it makes my car sound good dunno about speed tho i really doubt ~10 can make that big of difference..

i had a 328i for a bit, it was a great car i had no issues and the power was sufficient for a daily driver. However I have had two 335i's and their beast. Either way you go its a BMW and their a great car with great styling.

try to buy a 335i if possible, if you cannot, ecu upgrade, intake and exhaust will all help, especially the ecu

ecu and 3.63 diff from an auto (if your running manual trans)
This will provide a significant performance increase at the cost of slightly lower gas mileage (do not underestimate the power of a poor mans supercharger....aka shorter gear ratio)

the N52 ecu tune from CS Tuning is $449 ($349 for a limited time) and you'll get about 14-15hp out of it so there ya go... easy fix.
