I was just wondering what everybody else is getting hit with cause i spoke to a salesman at bmw and he said the best they could do was around the 800's i dont want to get another 335i unless its really necessary i really want the 335is please helppp

I ordered a new 335is recently to replace my aging E46 M3. The dealer was not willing to negotiate more than $500 off list price. He claimed that they were in high demand, had a small allotment and obviously had none on the lot. We worked with the Costco auto buying program and found a dealer to give us invoice price. Once we showed this to our local dealer, he agreed to match it, but not without a lot of hassle.

If you are a member of Costco, then Google for Costco Auto and it will bring you to a site with dealers who are part of the program. These dealers usually sell a little above invoice or so, the lowest price you will most likely be able to find without haggling. I've never used it myself, but have heard that it is actually pretty useful and painless.

Sounds normal to me - if you want the latest and greatest you need to pay for it. As with any BMW product, the lease prices are high for the first few months. With a specialty vehicle like the 335is, the money factors and residuals will never equal the regular 335. There just aren't any spiff leases on cars like the 335is.

For comparison, my dealer is offering $799/mo with $5000 total due at signing for M3's with MSRPs $10-15k more than that 335is. And that's their advertised deal with no negotiating.

You should obtain post key numbers such as money factor, residual, and cap cost. When dealers tell you XXX down and YYY a month, there is a good chance they are hiding a markup. From what I've seen in the last couple of months, you can pretty much get anything at the dealer's buy rate as well as very close to, if not invoice!
