How often do you change your wheels?
I see that some people change their wheels 3 times or more during the life of their car... Just wondering how much you've changed yours?
I'm wondering because I might be going to my second set of aftermarket wheels... But I've had the car since 06 and I am thinking of selling when the new one comes out, so I'm not sure if it's worth it. Problem is, my current wheels are shot, the tires are wearing out anyway. I guess I'd have to wait another 2 years anyway for the new coupes so getting another set of aftermarket wheels might be a relatively ok cost. Last edited by orangecircles; 01-13-2011 at 11:51 AM.. |

I never change it only get myself a winter set (as I did this past fall). Due to having had cracks in both my rear stock wheels (BMW Style 296) I might change my summer wheels before the winter set comes off.

It sounds like you need new wheels now, and how often others change theirs is rather irrelevant, therefore.
I replace my wheels only when the ones I have are no longer functioning as they are supposed to. I don't have a temporal measure guiding the replacement frequency. Wheels don't work like Aspirin. There's no replace every X time periods instruction for wheels.
