F31 330d
So carrying my 38kilo Alsatian Frankie around in the back of the e92 35i is becoming a bit tedious now & although I have the back seat covered & all weather mats, having to wait for the front seat to move forward & then clamber into the back to strap him in & having to clean all his hairs up is getting boring.
I really want a F31 340i but they are still to much money, whereas 330ds with sensible miles are around for the kind of money I want to spend. So I may have made the odd negative comment about dieselists now & again but I figure a diesel estate car is acceptable...right? Anyways do any of you have any info on what the F31 330d is like? I will post in the F31 section but I thought I'd ask for opinions here first.

Cracking cars from what I've heard and well suited to the 8 speed auto.

Yes I did/have but F31 335i are still 20k + and I would constantly wish I had a 340i, where as with the oil burner I can get a high spec with sensible miles, have even seen one or two with BMW warranty within my budget. I just need to accept that my days of owning a 'exciting' car are over

But don’t forget you have the 328i in the F series if you need a petrol..... But it’s a shame it’s missing 2 cylinders .... |

I couldn't live with a four pot. I will need to drive a couple of 330ds to see what they are like but sadly it seems like a good compromise, am hoping a pan roof & some nice toys will make up for it being an oil burner
