E92 Chrome Tips - 330 tips fit?

I doubt it. There are none in the US when you go to order them. They order them direct from overseas. It takes a while. Well worth the wait IMO.

I was originally told 8-10 working days (mon-fri is classed as a working day I think), but realistically I'm sure they came after about 4 working days (Germany to UK)

ordered these today. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...mZ280060714634 OEM BMW tips different part # than you guys have but the guy ask for last 7 of Vin and said guaranteed they are correct for an 07 328xi. $57.00 for the pair shipped! And they are stainless. Just in case anyone is interested?:rocks:

Those are the correct ones for the SEDAN. They wont fit correctly on the coupe,.

You're right... I just saw it again and says E90 and E91...

So where is the best place to get one for the coupe? (as far as prices go).

Questions with anyone with chrome tips installed already - do they get really dirty after a while? I mean so dirty that you can't even tell much difference from stock tips vs. chrome tips. I'm asking because this is what happened to my E46... I installed chrome tips but it didn't matter after a couple of months. Got very dirty and dusty. I tried to clean them but it wasn't the same, it just stayed dull.

As long as you treat them like you do any exterior surface of your car, they will look good.

I noticed my E92 tips stay a lot cleaner than my E90's. I don't know why that is, but my E90's were a bitch to keep clean. E92, no problems, I wash them normally and they're fine.

I couldn't find them on their web site... I even typed the part #.

May I ask how much you paid for it?

Also my car is leased this time - will I be able to take the tips off easily and put it on to the next car (assuming it fits)?

I decided to purchsae tips from dealer so that if I didn't like them I could conveniently return them. Glad I did.

I requested the 328i coupe tips, but they only stock the sedan version. While I think that the more vertical slant looks fine, I don't like the mismatch of the tail pipe inside, which obviously can't mate very well. So I returned them. I guess I need to wait until the dealer carries them since I don't want to order them on line.

I got the tips from Circle and was 100% satisfied with fit and quality, as probably 99% on the forum did as well. Did your dealer order the part numbers noted above? If not, why wait when you can have them in a few days?

I checked with both Circle and Crown, but neither show that they stock it on line, but they do carry the sedan version. Did you have to call them up and provide these two numbers?

Yes, give them those part #'s. They will order them and have them in stock in a few days and then ship it to you.
