Does anyone know where you can get plastic dip real cheap, I have 4 rims to do.

Homehardware has it but it is like $20 can.

Looking to get black.

A group buy would be cool but I want to put it on my winter rims so if I miss up it wouldn't matter!

wow i feel bad for you canadian folks, this stuff is available at almost all home depots for $7 a can. If shipping wasn't so expensive, we could make a business out of exporting this stuff to you guys. Good luck tracking some cheaper stuff down, ~20 for a can is way too much.

I just realized that I was spelling it wrong and re-did my search and found TOOFASTMOTORS to have a good price, it is $15 a can and if you buy 2 or more he will discount it but still charge the taxes.

So if I use 8 cans on 4 rims it will cost me $101 taxes in so it is like $12.63 a can, not bad.

When I was looking for spray touch up paint, I read that customs will not allow pressurized items in packages across the boarder.

Wow, this could result in a lot better pricing actually. 4 cans with 2 packs of index cards cost about $42.45. That's like $10.56 per can versus $22.xx from home hardware.

I e-mailed the fellow on the website to get a shipping price for the wheel kit (4 cans and 2 packs of cards) and it is $80 to have it shipped to me in T.O.

Where did you get $42.45?

Nevermind, I might have looked at the wrong thing. When I try to register on the website, it doesn't give me the option to put in Canadian address so i'm not sure how the site plans to ship to Canada.

Yeah, that is for US(lucky buggers) the site has a place in Canada that they ship from so they charge the Canadian prices.

So I am going to TOOFASTMOTORS in North York and get it there thier price starts at $15 an they discount if you buy 2 or more cans, once I see Ivo and comfirm that my 17" winters from my old 08 335i fit on my new 335IS.

Well I just finished spraying my winter rims and it turned out really good!

I got 5 cans of it for ~$12.50 a can before taxes. Only used 4 cans.

So here are some before and after pics.
