None taken.. It's fairly rare to see anything positive when you post so I didn't expect too much..

Nah in all seriousness had I of known they would take that long, I probably wouldn't have gone ahead. 6 weeks turned into 2 then 3 then 4 months. I'm a fan of CSL's and these, in addition to being extremely light, differ slightly from the masses so i'm happy..

Forgestars are good wheels, they do take time though.
There is nothing wrong with the company, but each wheel is made from scratch to customers orders, hence the very long waiting time. I have waited for Forgestars myself and I can recommend them for strong lightweight wheels at a good price, albeit with a long lead time. If you can find a cancelled order or a good condition second hand set of Forgestars, you're golden.

That rear concavity is only something CSL rep owners can dream about it - much much deeper!

Car is looking good!

Bit of an update!

Alpina B3 Tcu At Flash - Done and gets two thumbs up!

I've since had a Wavetrac LSD installed (Thanks Shane & Advan!)

Very impressed! Would recommend anyone with a tune to look into one.

I also had Eisenmann axel back mufflers put on. I love em at WOT and downshifting, but on the highway, it's a bit too loud for my liking..

Lastly - I got a set of Forgestar red centrecaps - just for something different, however I think I'll be putting the carbon fibre ones back on..

The car's come a long way and is looking great! Love the stance - the set up really works well. I guess you are right - the carbon caps work better as there is no other red on the car to pick up on; no biggie though as the overall look is spot-on!

Cannot argue with tha sort of service! It will be very interesting to hear your opinions on the brake pads when they finally go in.

UPDATE:

Suspension is now all in and wow - what a difference! It actually sits flat in the corners now! I'd recommend the upgrade to anyone!

A few new additions:

M3 steering wheel with M3 paddles Now to do something about that woodgrain!

Another update: My 335's only an SE, which didn't bother me too much as I knew I'd be upgrading the suspension and wheels anyway. One thing that I really missed were the MSport seats..

I managed to track down a set out of a wrecked E87! Took a while to find as hardly any E90 / E87's had full electric and memory.

Update 3: Being a Pre-LCI, I had to do something about the rear end. I'd LOVE to do a LCI upgrade with CSL trunk, however this will do.. for now..

(Thanks A'PEXi!)

Cheers!

I'm also going carbon leather. I found a place in the UK that sells carbon leather off the roll. Much cheaper than OEM...
