If you buy an LSD in Australia it's almost three grand by the time you get the LSD, get a ring and pinion in the right ratio, get it installed in the pumpkin and throw it at the car.

Or you can buy a used m3 diff and they can be cheap, get a shaft made and get it installed and your done.

Youre up early mate !

Adjustable launch control via MHD has been alpha tested and works. It will be made available in MHD soon

Also the M3 GTS software has been flashed onto a number of cars but involves a shifter swap. This swap including wiring and physical changeover has been documented in a thread on the "street that spools" This also means that DCT cars now have an option for diff ratios. Any M3 DCT diff will work

All in all we may actually see a 335i in the 9s soon. It may well have 7 gears.

Which of these will be part of MHD?

Don't quote me but adjustable launch and anti lag launch.

News just to hand !!!
With the m3 shifter and m3 flash, adjustable launch control works on a 335 just like it does on an M3. Ie without DSC intervention because it's off ! It was previously thought this would require further work. @Dyezak tried it and it works.

Hold on to your hat folks ... were in for a real treat because this means that some of those quarter mile records will tumble. This in conjunction with the antilag piece from pure evil tuning means we don't need to wait for MHD

WE CAN DO IT RIGHT NOW!

Yep, I have been following this as well. Super exciting. Does this mean it should work for cars without the CIC or whatever the Nav system is called?

Unknown at this point. I would suggest yes because the m3 has CIC as an option as well

This is very promising. I might try and acquire the center console soon in case this can be done.

It's supposed to be lifetime fill but they start to leak at about 100k KMs and you have to do work on the pan at that stage anyway so it makes sense. Some members such as R32GOJIRA have reported that it makes it better.

^Yea I'm at 72K and wondering to do it or not. It's not DIY friendly since the process is complicated and I read the M guys have a tool connected that calibrates the oil since you need 5 bars of pressure to get it all out. Refilling it is complicated too.

The plastic tray on the DCT is $189. Then you need something like 6 litres of the pentosin fluid. That's £22 a litre. The rest will remain in the cooling system. You have to replace the stretch bolts. Paid about £350 I think it was for mine to be done at 45,000 miles about 3.5 years ago.
The tray still gets damp. I did a fluid check last year. In 3 years it had lost almost no fluid. I say almost because most got out when I was checking the level. Top up is easy as heck if you have jack stands and ista-d
I was worried my dct was leaking again but some people say they vent under pressure. As I'm full GC turbos on stock clutches the trans works pretty hard.
