WTD: E90 M Sport Kit
Hi guys, I'm looking for the M Sport bodykit and will consider any parts of it - front bumper, skirts, and back bumper.
I see M Style sell the full kit for £750 delivered but just trying to see if I can better than second hand, ya never know.. Anyone anything of interest? |

Sorry only Pre-LCI for me...
I would love to go to M Style as their painting and fitting prices are excellent, but alas I am in Northern Ireland |

Just been quoted £768 including VAT from my local BMW Garage which I have to say is fantastic for the complete retrofit kit! However I will continue the search for a used kit in the mean time to try to shave the costs down a bit...

I'm still looking to do an M-Sport rear bumper and diffuser conversion + paint (from SE) and wondered how much it would cost and whether anyone knew where I could get one done?

E.g. To fit the rear bumper you also need the upper and lower diffuser and two foam inserts for behind the bumper. The front bumper needs about 5 grilles, fog lamps and new front splash guards. So in my opinion if you want the full kit, the most cost effective option is either buy new from BMW and get everything you need, or strike lucky and find a "complete" second hand kit with all the fiddly bits needed otherwise you will be out a fortune buying them from BMW on top of the price of the second hand bumper skins... (BMW seem to heavily discount the full kit, but charge a lot for individual parts!) |

Aware the one linked needs a lower diffuser but again they are easily available at a low cost. Also what are these foam inserts behind the bumper. My car also has parking sensors so would I need to replace those? |

I don't understand MStyles rear bumper price. I have emailed them before saying how can you offer the front, side skirts, and rear bumper with everything fitted sprayed for £1000 and then just the rear is £700.
Didn't get a response. Goons

Bumper (part no.1), lower diffuser (part no.3), upper diffuser (part no.4) http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...73&hg=51&fg=15 Foam inserts (part no.2) - you will see there are two versions, one for M Sport bumpers and one for normal bumpers. You obviously need one for each side of the bumper. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...29&hg=51&fg=15 M Sport aren't being goons - as I mentioned above BMW themselves offer a collossal discount when buying the full kit, but individual parts are really expensive! And seeing as that's where M Style get their parts from, it's not hard to see why they are the same... |

Then it would make sense for them to just buy the entire kit regardless.

Well either way I guess they are basically offering the same parts as BMW with a discount off dealer prices.
Back on topic - I've just picked up a full kit locally (2nd hand) for £550 including splash guards and rear bumper mounting foam. I am also having a 2009 330 backbox thrown into the deal which has a nice chrome angled tailpiece. Needless to say I am over the moon!! |
