My mirror doesn't seem to move on it's own, but I constantly have to readjust it. It doesn't overshoot the rear window really at all - if I'm slightly down in the seat or sitting up slightly more than usual, it needs to get moved.
It's funny, I notice it regularly when I drive in the morning and again at night (which happens less frequently than you'd expect, I don't have a commute). My posture is RELIABLY much worse by the end of the day, to the degree that I need to move the mirror significantly. |

mine does it too...i never could find any info when id search the forums. like roleeze mentioned, i think it's related to the seat memory too. The mirror seems too hard to move on its own..plus, every now and then i need to move the thing upwards, i dont imagine vibrations and potholes can cause that. A slight change in the seat seems about right.
i even have the phantom mirror issue on the driver door, where the mirror moves on its own.. but that seems to be a pretty common thing. |

I agree that the mirror seems to hard to move on its own, but as I mentioned in the first post, the mirror was pointing at the rear seats after sitting in the sun for 1 week.
For now i will just have to deal with it I guess. |

Same here, annoying but has become part of the pre flight check routine.
