M sport package, taller tires, will they fit?

I have a 2009 e90 sedan with the M sport package, Style 193M wheels.

Fronts have 8.0X18, ET34
Rears have 8.5X18, ET37

I am interested in running a 27" tire to improve ride quality, rim protection, etc.

That would be a 225/50/18 in the front, 255/45/18 in the rear.

Does anyone know if these tires will fit without rubbing?

or should I just try switching to non sport package springs and go with factory sized tires?

I don't think so. Too much rubber. I have seen 225/45/18 and 255/40/18 done without issues. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...72&postcount=1

Agreed ^^

You are going to have rubbing issues on that setup.

Thanks for your reply, I may go up just one tire size, then change the springs to the non sport package ones if it continues to be a problem. I do alot of commuting on surface streets and some of them are in bad shape.

Way too tall, OP. Just go with a different tire brand/model in the stock specs to help improve your ride quality. If you're running RFTs right now, pretty much any non-RFT is going to be softer.
