So, I'm in the process of starting various new cosmetic modification projects, and wrapping my Stock Piano Black Interior Trim in a Glossy Carbon Fibre Vinyl is one of them.

Last night I received my order of Super Glossy 5D Carbon Fibre Vinyl, 1.52x20Metres of it to be precise, lol! My order was based on alot of research to find the right wrap, and then hassling a certain someone to give up their suppliers company name so I could order this Vinyl in bulk

This is the most realistic looking wrap alternative to genuine Clear E-poxy/Resin coated Carbon Fibre i've come across.

I'll be posting updates with pictures as I progress.

Tools
Wrap Vinyl.
Rubbing Alcohol & 2 Microfibre Cloths for cleaning and drying pre-wrap.
Microfibre Wrapping Gloves.
Dewalt Heatgun.
3M Squeegee.
3M Primer 94
Acute Precision Knife with 10 Extra Blades.
Weights For The Corners of The Vinyl
and finally, patience!

I started off with the Drivers Side Door Trims as its my first time wrapping anything, and I thought these two pieces would be easy to work with. Here are a couple of pictures I took late last night after finishing them.

Please bare in mind that these pictures were taken at night with an iPhone, and that this vinyl looks much better in person. I'm more than happy with the result.

Would you mind taking a photo of it during day light?

I'm curious as to how glossy it really is. It's hard to tell with the flash on.

Thanks.

That stuff does not like to curve very well, so good job. I used the same stuff, it doesn't hold up to weather.

Thanks Ruddigger. Yeah you're right, thick vinyl and fairly hard to work with.

I was recommended to only use this stuff on the interior trim, so it should be fine on the inside hopefully, but chances are we had different stuff so mine may be different, there are thousands of suppliers out there as you know!

So I wrapped my Msport Steering Wheel Trim last night, what a PITA that is to get back into the wheel once its out! This picture should give a good idea on how glossy this Vinyl is.

Sorry for the crappy picture quality of this one, but this shows the installed Steering Wheel Trim.

Also I wrapped the drivers side part of the dash trim last night, adding a redline accent with 3M vinyl tape. I'll be doing this to the main dash trim aswell.

P.S the shine you see here is not air bubbles, but does look that way with the light reflection in this pic.

Just the Interior Trim, however you'd think I was doing the whole car from the amount I've got!

I had to order the Vinyl in bulk as that is the only way to get hold of it. Unfortunately the amount I have is the smallest quantity its sold in.
