Indeed - time flies! I remember Ian's slightly, erm, sideways departure from that meet

Once again Fella's, many, many thanks for all the kind and supportive comments.
A meet is a must, and I've swopped PM's with both Carl & Will about the event. Si also kindly offered me a passenger seat in the C63, so despite being in a BMW,I'll be in the torque monster along with Si,window down and enjoying arguably the best aural experience out there. Holding people up is not something I'm accustomed to, and I'm not starting now

So sorry to hear about your troubled couple of years Ian and delighted with your triple rollover of good news. I hope your sister's health continues to improve too.

Ian, as others said, I had only heard very recently that things had not been great for you, but didn't realise times had been as tough as this.
But! Fantastic news all round and something all the money in the world cannot buy. We have never met, but been 'friends' on here for many years, and wish you all the very very best for the future Take it easy |

Great news and good to hear about positive NHS experiences.
My wife was a Radiotherapist/grapher (treatment-therapist) and has worked at the Marsden in sutton, along with other London area hospitals. She now trains the hospitals on cancer treatments and the use of the machines and software, they use. So really good to hear more positive stories , particularly from a forum member, which i think i briefly met at Brands once?? Great news on the job front. |
