It may be a sensitive question, and it may have been asked (though the search didn't turn up anything helpful) - but what are you fellow Canadians paying in lease payments per month?

It would be very vital to know if the lease payment you disclose included or didn't include a downpayment, and of course the term of the lease.

Specifically looking for info on the 335i's - thanks!

(Oh, and is it just me, or did BMW drop their leasing rate in Canada as well as in the US?)

You're looking at about 1k with taxes on a near loaded coupe with the current rate

I'm looking at the coupe only so E92. Not feeling the sedan and I've generally never really fell in love with vert's. Any other thoughts?

I know its about $1K taxes in right now - that's what the calculator says which I must have done about 2 dozen times now - its just what have people here negotiated that I'm particularly interested in....

Interest is a waste of money. Put more money down and you won't waste your money on interest because down payment and residual are interest free.

oke that's not the way how you want to look at leasing a car~ whenever you are in a situation of getting a new car, always bargain with the purchase price. Once the price is settle, you then go ahead and tell them you want the lease.

Playing the lower monthly lease payment game yields no benefit. it's the total price of the car that's the major factor that affects what you pay per month.

so you should ask, how much discount does every one gets?

steps for getting a car at a good price:

1. go to www.carcostcanada.com to buy a 5 report bundle. believe me, it's worth it.

2. take the option that you want and customize a car out.

3. the report will show you what is the dealer's invoice price. take that price and add 3% of profit. you will get a bargain and the dealer will for sure do it for you.

when you go to the dealer, you don't have to bring out the report, just bluff them by saying someone is give you such and such price, now what can you offer.

I were able to get my dealer to yield only 2.2% profit so that's a bargain to me~!

i can save you all that crap and skip the report part if you want me to hook you up~

Money down on a lease is not a good idea. It is money out of pocket.

If you were to drop 10k down on a lease, drive the car off the lot and have it totaled, that money is gone.

Instead of putting money down, look at using multiple security deposits to reduce the interest rate.

My dad did that with his XC90, worth it vs. money down only. I gree with you 100%, he ended up getting 0.9% interest rate for the 4 years!

This is usually a good idea and I have done this with my Lexus and Infiniti, but not with BMW because they only give you .1% off per security deposit. So with your initial deposit plus 9 more will only result in a .9% reduction of the interest rate. 9 deposits at ~ $1k equals $9k of security deposits. $9k could earn you more money invested then the discount earned if invested properly. Now with Lexus you get .2% off per security deposit yielding a better discount and I believe some manufacturers even offer .25% interest savings per deposit. Always read the fine print.

In my dads case it saved him 4%, .5% for every car payment (about 6K)
