Christmas DIY: M Sport Wheel Trim

The sports wheel silver trim on my 2007 320i was looking a little worse for wear after a few years of being driven with someone with long nails (not me) so I picked up a new M Sport Wheel trim.

I like the silver trim of the standard sports wheel better but the plastic flaking on my wheel trim was starting to annoy me.

All one needs is a T20 screw driver and some patience; three mounting screws behind the wheel, a little shimmy, two more screws inside the trim for the buttons and done!

Next job for me: silver interior trim to replace the wooden trim - anyone want to do a swap?

Yes. A manual. Nice. Although when I do upgrade to an F30 in a couple of years it'll be hard to go past 8 speed auto with 200ms shift speed. Wow, I can't wait to sample that car.
