potenza s-04 vs. continental dw

for a 335iX m-sport (miniscule sidewalls). Spirited daily use on a variety of roads, no track.

Conti DW:
+ smoothest ride reported
+ high ultimate grip
+ light (21 & 23lbs)!!!
- reported vague feeling (and I believe it from previous conti experience)

S-04:
+ second to michelin PSS in pretty much every test
+ reported decent ride and grip
+ outperforms DW in pretty much every test while still reportedly comfy
- heavy!! (25 & 27lbs, same weight as crap-ola RE050A RFT's)
- it's a bridgestone. squarish profile + bmw front suspension =? tramlining

Currently leaning towards the potenza s04, simply to not lose steering feel though their weight bothers me.

I've done a bunch of searches and read some comments, but the s-04 is relatively new so updates are welcome.

I'm using S-04 235/35/19s for my E46. They are heavy but no tramlining. I love them!!!

A friend of mine had Conti DW... Light, yes but not strong. On 2 separate occassions, the tire bubbled up on the side after hitting a pothole.

S-04s are great tires. I would go that route if you could!
