SSDD CF front Splitters - Quality?

Hi guys,

Been looking at getting a pair of these http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/show_...hp?prod_id=601 splitters for my Pre LCI M Sport e91.. Anyone got these and can vouch for fit/quality? My car is Silver so hoping there is no gaps between these and the foglight surround grille..

Cheers!

I had mine delivered from SSDD on saturday. They're a little different as are for the LCI. I've only pushed them on as not fitting until I've had it detailed but I can say they fit near perfect and look the nuts. The quality is good, there's a fault in the weave but it's on the underside so will never be seen.

Try their eBay site as mine were listed cheaper on there so I got them through eBay?? Search for 'the BMW specialist' in eBay shops and you'll find SSDD's eBay page

HTH

SSDD are best in the UK for quality mate and if you're unsure drive down to him in Staines and take a look! He's open to it just give him a call ..

Although, I've just come across these http://www.mstyle.co.uk/acatalog/info_B02MS111.html that look interesting.. I was originally after a set of painted black splitters but couldnt find any but now i have found these.. I can paint them myself so would work out cheaper.. Anyone bought these and know of fitment/quality?

I am one for a good fit though so if they are not as good as the SSDD ones, I will go for them and keep the CF..

Thanks!

Here's a few pictures of one just pushed on, not fixed/secured anywhere, they'll tuck in even more when properly fitted. You can see the fit is spot on and I'm sure they'll be just as good on the pre LCI.

I had toyed with the idea of getting plastic ones and painting them but I was told the plastic ones are a lot thicker and don't fit so well.

do not buy from mstyle you're wasting your time believe me do some research on them on this forum or just ask anyone who's been on here long enough they're a bunch of clueless cowboys...apparently the guy who runs the business Paul is ok but i've never dealt with him the others well they're basically chavs

Go with Teddy i bought my fibre glass CSL bootlid from him although my quality was pretty shit never realised till i took it to a bodyshop to get sprayed was full of pitting and wasnt solid...had to get it blocked and strenghtened then painted cost me £500 and even now theres a slight crack in it and it's gone all wavy but hey thats fibre glass for you and it just depends on the mold...guess you learn as you mod it's all an experience

BUT HANDS DOWN Teddy at SSDD over Mstyle ANY DAY

I managed get some off ebay. Fit is fine, the driver side one isn't as good as the passenger side. Both stuck on with M3 tape.

Got my ebay payments mixed up (been buying too much suff). The Splitters came to £104 delivered, with delivery taking about 1 week.

eBay link is below:

Heres a pic from another angle.

I'm after some of these.. But the shape of the pre lci ones (what i need) isn't half as nice as the lci ones.

If they could be made a bit smoother i'd order a set now.
