Interesting youtube video
i just saw this video on youtube... a ****ing jack@zz but definitely shows the maneuverability of the vehicle in action. looking at the RFT shatter on the road near the end is pretty interesting also. (no one was hurt)

Damn... that collision was crazy. As a new dad, I would have broken that guy's neck if he hit my car with my daughter in it.

Wow...
Guy was an idiot but man did that car out handle. You could tell the lady he hit was pretty pissed once he started crawling out, can't blame her with a baby in the car.

Lol...I love when the announcer go crazy whenever there is a moderately quick car in the chase. That's probably a 325 or 330...if the cops wanted to I'm sure they could keep up just fine.

It's not a 335.
At 1:58 when you can see the back of the car close-up, you can tell that its a single exhaust, and it does not have the dual cutout in the rear bumper. Since it was moving a bit, it was probably a 330. I don't think the v8 cop cars would have THAT much trouble keeping up with a 330...they were easing off. Maybe it was highly modified.

Lol..those cop cars can definitely keep pace with or even outrun that 330i...
Stupid announcer. I suppose it makes for better T.V. to dramatize the whole situation, "oh noes it's a beemer, they'll never catch up" It would be an entirely different story if that was a 335i, M3, M6....hahaha. THEN the cops wouldn't have a chance. |
