I never even thought about having to use a block lol..I just jacked mine up with trolley jack..guess thats not the correct way to do it so will get something

See post number 26 for the dimensions. Already on to revision 2! I found the cup of the jack split the wood, so attach a thin piece of mdf under the block to take the strain and avoid the splitting.
