Map update error code

Hi all,

I've been trying on and off to update my professional nav system on my e90 2009 330i lci for some time now, I have been consistently getting an error message stating my code is incorrect. I have bought 2 codes from 2 separate vendors and both are the exact same and therefore produce the same error message. Is this something anyone else has experienced? The nav system is factory fitted aswell.

I have encountered same issues on one CIC.
Solution was to update the firmware on CIC and then code works like a charm.
FSC codes is based on latest firmware and I think your CIC is on old firmware with old algorithm and hence error.
If your car is under warranty, ask your dealer to update your CIC.
If its out of warranty, then find local indy who can update your CIC.
or somebody whom you can post it and he can update the firmware on the table.

My car ran out of warranty last week, is there any particular tactic or reason I should give to the dealer for them to update it? I will try and get them to do it as a good will gesture as my warranty has just ran out
