Yes I went yesterday and it was excellent. Many debut cars including the new Mustang Shelby Gt350. The BMW exhibit was very complete.... Sitting in the M series cars was great. I8 was there as well. And the models at all of the booths were worth the price of admission .

Off Topic:
But wouldn't seeing the one sexy woman who'll almost certainly let you do more than just look be more fun? Maybe it's just me, but I'd much rather "waste" a day "playing games" with my lady than looking at the models at a car show.

I would, however, go to a car show for the sake of seeing if there are any cars that look good enough to compel me to trade in one or more of my own. Of course, I don't get to spend enough time with the people who are important in my life, so things like car shows that occur when I'm not really in the market for a car are events I don't attend very often. Make no mistake though, were I visiting L.A. on business, I'd surely kill a Sunday at the car show. I might even schedule my flight just so I could go to it.

All the best.
