I ordered my car through East Bast BMW in Pleasanton. I still dont have any update so far. I am hoping that the cars did not get damage during shipping.

It's been a week since the boat arrived for you guys. You might try giving EH Harms a call. I don't know the number, but they are in Baltimore, so you can google it. They should be able to at least let you know if you're through customs yet.

I'm glad it's through customs at least. Barring any damage, I would think you'll be on a truck in the next few days.

Just spoke with the Sonnen (San Rafael CA) BMW sales manager today about my ED car. He indicated that it didn't reach customs until the 15th even though the ship unloaded on the 13th. He also said it would take five days to process out of the VPC, when it gets there. I don't think I'll see my car until after March 1st.

Anybody else have an ED car with better delivery than mine?

Well, it's raining all this week and I don't want to do cell phone pictures. When I get a chance (and some nice weather), I'm going to try to upload some pics. I say "try" because I've only sent photos on line through Kodak and I'm not the most tech savvy guy around. (Hey, I'm 56).

I think it will arrive sometime next week. I started guessing. I wasnt too anxious about the delivery date until I signed up for this forum I really liked other people sharing their experiences and thoughts.
I just got an email from my Sales agent. She basically said it is in customs and she doesnt know how long it will take to clear customs. She said she will keep me posted.
I dont think she has the latest and greatest information.
We will just have to wait.

I feel your pain. Today is day number 62 for me. Your boat came in last week though, so you should at least be in the VPC by now. Have you tried to call the import agent (Ted Rausch) or the BMWNA vehicle status number? Ted Rausch can let you know where you are in the customs process, and the BMW automated status should update shortly after you arrive in the VPC. It’s been over a week, so you guys from the Hudson should probably be seeing some deliveries around now.

BMWNA os (800) 831-1117, and it's an automated system. It's not up to the minute, but it's better than the BMW Owner's Circle website online. Ted Rausch is (562) 435-8231. They should know where it is in the customs clearance process.

The guy who I talked to tried to get me to call me my dealer first, but after I pressed him a little – he finally checked it for me. You’ll need your VIN number. I didn’t want to call him two days in a row, but as of yesterday it was awaiting Dept of Ag clearance. If you call, please let me know what they say. I’m assuming we should all pass the agriculture inspection around the same time.

I was on the HL as well. For me, it's been 63 days if my math is correct, and I dropped it off at MADA (Munich). It must've been Christmas holiday or something, because my car didn't leave Bremerhaven until 3 weeks later

I think that the previous boat to carry BMW's was the Pegasus Diamond and while I don't know when exactly it departed, there was an ED drop-off of 12/11 that made it on board. Hope you and I and all HL & AL ED's are driving new cars before 3/1

For me it's 57 days since my December 27 drop off in Frankfurt... I'll call those numbers once I'm in Miami tomorrow...

I called the 1-800 number it says in transit. I guess it even didnt make it to the VPC yet. Is that correct? It has been almost 2 weeks do you guys think it should be at VPC by now.

There is a delay for that number to update. You might try to call BMW's ED number in New Jersey.

BTW, I did find out some encouraging information. My car is currently in the VPC according to a person that I talked to at the ED number in New Jersey. The automated 800 number still says that it's in transit.

Woooo! Just got a call saying its been released to the carrier and should be at the dealership in the next couple of days. One thing that is weird is he also said in the system they have an ETA of MARCH 4th. So hopefully that is a mistake.

Called the trucking company, they said its on its wait to BMW Encinitas. Will arrive today.
