R99's E91 325d Wagon - The Build Thread

Hi all,

I have a build thread on the UK sub forum but it can be fairly quiet on there, so thought I would open this up to a wider audience

My car is a E91 LCI, its a 325d which I know is not an engine you got in the USA. The spec of the car is as follows:

3.0 M57 engine with 198 PS / 400 NM
Black Sapphire Metalic
Dakota / Black Oyster Leather
Heated Seats
Electric Folding Mirrors
Panoramic Sunroof
Auto Dip Interior Mirror
Storage Package
Adaptive Xenons
Rain Sensor
Auto Lights
Light Package
High Beam Assist
BMW Professional Navigation
Darkened Rear Glass
PDC Rear

Since I bought the car back in August '15 I have done the following:

BMWP Black Kidneys
Individual Piano Black Interior Trim (with inlay)
BMWP / 135i 6pot / 2pot Brembo's with BMWP discs
Alpine Audio Upgrade with Logic 7 Subs
Bilstein B8 Sprint Dampers
H&R Sport Springs (35mm front & 20mm rear)
E90 M3 Wing Mirrors with Electrochrome Glass (has been coded to work)
BBS CX-R's (19x8.5 ET32 and 19x9.5 ET32)
Continental SportContact 6 (225/35/19 front and 255/30/19 rear)

Plans for the immediate future:

Fit F3x Brembo's (blue) with M Performance 370mm discs.
Fit OEM rear calipers with new 330mm discs (rebuilt and colour matched to Brembo's)

Long Term Plans:

Combox
335d exhaust conversion with BMWP diffuser
2 stage Machine Polish and GTechniq treatment

Here are some pictures to get the thread started:

The day I collected it:

The other set of wheels I had on for a period of time (CSL reps)

The day the BBS got fitted:

M3 Mirrors Fitted:

Blue Brembo's waiting to go on:

Thanks guys!

I've not had the car too long, and I've spent a lot of cash, so will be a while until the other bits on the list get done I think!

Thanks!

I bought this car after we had a baby. My previous car was a F56 Cooper S, a car that I bought brand new and one which I modified quite considerably!

When I bought the Wagon, it was to try and save money and I promised that I wouldnt mod it too much - just a drop and some CSL reps...... then this happened!

I don't think I'll ever just 'own' a car, despite trying! I'm always looking for the next mod......

Yeh the E90/91 LCI front end looks awesome doesnt it! They did a pretty good job on the back end too!

You don't normally find many Tourings being modified which is another reason why I love having one!

I don't think the mirrors add much to the car, but those wheels and the MTech kit are sick. I wish I had your rear bumper.

Thanks!

M Sport bumpers do make a big difference!

I personally think that the new mirrors have transformed the car!

They do look more impactful in person though!

I received a couple of pictures today of my rear calipers which have been sebt away for rebuild / paint to.

They have been triple sanded to give a smooth finish & painted Estoril Blue:

Hopefully should match the fronts quite well

Love the build so far. Any interior pictures? I'd be interested in seeing the Piano trim you added.
