have you called BR Racing in Los Gatos? I am sure they will do great work at less than the dealer cost.

I'm just over 50k and am trying to gauge when I should worry about the cooling system. I have no mods and only started flushing every two years starting at about 40k. Pitiful. |

i just flushed my coolant system a month ago.. does this mean my t-stat and water pump is going soon? i did get a cheek engine light a week ago for t-stat, and I'm hearing the engine bay fan really loud...
btw, is this all because i did a coolant flush? |

Sounds like the symptoms of a failing water pump or tstat. I would suggest you take it to the dealership if you're still under warranty.

You definitely shouldn't if there's a strong chance that's the reason. I didn't really have any warning symptoms then one day driving on the freeway from work and all I hear is a pop and engine overheat.
