e90 on 4 jack stands
Howdy,
New DIY bimmer owner. Luv the forum. I have searched and can't seem to find a thread to raise my e90 off the ground and onto 4 jack stands. I know I am suppose to use the plastic pads but I cant use it to jack and then put a jack stand under it. Any help would be appreicated. Micano |

Not to revive a dead thread, but...
I'm going to: 1) Get the front up utilizing race ramps. 2) Jack the rear using diff (avoiding the cover). 4) Drop the rear on to some rubber topped jackstands on the outer sub frame. 5) Jack the front at the front center jack mount, placing, but not weight bearing, jackstands under the front side jack points. I'll post back tomorrowand let you know how it went. |

Jack Stands
I got it figured out.
Use floor jack on the rear plastic pad. Raise the car enough to get a jack stand under the front pad and the rear diff sub frame. Lower onto those 2 stands and repeat on the other side. Car is up and secure. |
