Coming from S03s, RE11s, PS2s, Dunlop Direzza Z1s, mostly high end summers, the DWS are the perfect tire for NYC. To each their own though. I won't be complaining about spinning from a 40 roll in the winter time for sure

Once you start gripping through the turns tire life will be insignificant and the re-11s compared to some of the others aren't event really that bad

Excluding the fact that the Pilot SS requires you to drive around with a spare in the back, it's a superior tire to the OEM runflat Bridgestone in pretty much every aspect. Running them right now and real happy with them so far. Turn in, grip, comfort is way improved.
