If I get my car back from the dealer (Oil cooler retrofit and some other little things) by tomorrow I might be interested in going.

hey...

from the website, the test and tune night starts at 6pm and ends at 10pm.

http://www.etownraceway.com/

i'm planning to leave the city by 630pm and maybe get there by 800pm depending on traffic. we can meet at etown or meet along the way there. but, it may be easier if we just meet there.

i'll be in a montego blue 335 w/ paper tag. look for the asian guy.

i'm getting my new wiring harness for the procede (long story) tomorrow and i want to get a base run in there before i put the procede in.

Let me know how it turns out. I can't make it this time because I don't have my car back yet.

I'll make it the next time you guys decide to go.

How was it? How many people were there? I have never done it before, but would love to once I break in my engine, only 645mi on her.

What is needed to run other than $$ and a car?

hey guys... it was good seeing fellow e9x's. the car ended up getting 14.1 w/ bad 60' and missing 4th gear. the car felt good but the driver was not so good. having track exp is def important in running good times. i think the car could do mid-high 13's without any problems. i will go out there again sometime in august. we should coordinate better and head out there together.

re: track... it was my first time out there. i felt kind of lost out there. the security guards were vague about where to go to for tech, etc. with that said, track is in good shape. there were many street cars and the pricing is not bad. ($28 for driver, $14 for passenger).

btw, i had paper tag on my car when i went out there. people thought it was funny that i brought a new car out there. i told them this is the perfect way to break the 'seal' on the car...

It was nice seeing you there! Thats the problem with manual - consistency I might make it out again in early August.

Yeah, besides paying, you gotta go to tech inspection so just ask when you get there...

There were a ton of cars, not many with temps on like milano though! It was a good time, lots of cool people and some really nice cars (e60 m5, 997tt, etc.) Oh, and I forgot to put in my other post - if you are running under 14, which you should be - you need a helmet.

Well I put ~700 miles on the car in germany.... so...another 800 or so in Brooklyn and I'll be good.... I see you ran a 13.5 with your car... how did you launch and did you paddle shift or just leave it in DS?
