Flashed and install! did a quick drive and after getting my oil up to temp I must say I am very pleased with my purchase

One thing I notice from my short 15 min drive is that the gear change is VERY smooth during WOT compare to my procede.

Will need to do more runs and data logging over the weekend before I can make a proper review between the rev3 and cobb.

Glad you got it working. Do some data logs when you get a chance to see if Cobb makes your engine happier. For now, enjoy!

I just got done testing STG 1 93 oct aggressive v203 against v301 . Theres definately something different here , v203 feels better on the butt dyno. With 301 I get a surge around 5k rpm and I get more shift bog . Overall 301 doesn't seem to pull as hard ...

I think Cobb dialed the map Down a notch, I think it was too aggressive, idk only they can tell us why

As I understand from reading this thread, Cobb hasn't solved the (6MT) shift bog problem either. I wonder what is Cobb's take on this issue and how could it be solved ? Any way to disable this transmission protection from the ECU ? Here is a log of a bog, it seems to be induced by a "protection system", after the shift the boost target (and actual boost) rises very slowly:

I had them both dyno'd and they were within 1 or 2 hp of each other but my guy did say that V203 was a bit too aggressive and loved the way V301 looked.

Aggressive versus safe power. Guess it depends if you are a gambling man or not.

This has been an issue for years now. I'm not even sure there is a fix short of going NLS with a WOTbox or JB4.

Me too. DPs, catback, and drop in filter going in. I'm hoping for like 30hp or so

Yeah, does it feel weak between 3-4k and then comes alive at 4 k rpm?

careful with that, i have slid my car around 360 in a pretty busy road, luckily nobody was on it and it was very late at night, and i learned my lesson.

live and learn and don't hurt anyone while doing it =)

Yeah, I only have traction control fully off when doing individual gear pulls or logging data. Otherwise, partial DTC (pressing the button once) should suffice.

What feels aggressive and what is too aggressive when looking at the data on the dyno is two complete different stories.
