strip oil drain pan bolt!

Has anybody had this happen to them? I think I just did that.

Nope, never happened to me. Next time, after you get it off, make sure you position your body so that you have proper leverage and your keeping the ratchet flat on the bolt.

you sure it's stripped?? was it cross threaded and stripped on it's way out or did you strip it somehow by forcing it back in??

did you strip it or sheer it? if its sheered you got yourself a pretty big problem, done it before.

It feels like it is starting to strip. I felt the rise in torque and went a bit beyond. Don't know, I will check it again next oil change.
